Lab: DIY Body Paint
WHAT: DIY BODY PAINT Lab

This Lab is an experiment in creating eco-friendly body paint for use in the Light Up A Tree Project. We will make all natural body paints using micas, clay and a zinc oxide base cream to paint our arms and hands. Then each participant will be photographed as a tree by artist Emine Ozmen.
Light Up A Tree is a photography project depicting people as trees using a light painting technique.
Imagine yourself as a tree: a palm tree, an apple tree, a cherry tree in full blossom, a pine tree, a maple tree… Is there a tree that represents you, or a homeland? As a participant, you will receive a digital copy of a photograph taken of you.
