It's been a while since we've been in touch.

It's true. David was recently the keynote speaker at an environmental education conference, and Shara took on the crazy, but rewarding, task of stage managing a community theatre production... and has been preparing to start her Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy in Switzerland this summer... (one week after Spiritfest—gah!)

So, apologies for our silence!

Spiritfest has been cooking behind the scenes—a new logo, up above,

a new website http://www.spiritfest.ca , which is mostly complete,

and the 2014 trailer, which features music from last year's evening performer, Chris Warren. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kumqZs-wc0o

We have some great facilitators joining us at Spiritfest this year!

A few new faces: Piper Hayes will be offering vocal exploration and choir, and contributing sweetly to Sunday Morning Gospel Hour. https://www.facebook.com/piperhayes
Gennie Brukner will offer an NVC (Non-Violent Communication) workshop.

And familiar ones: Tracey Tief of Anarres Health returns with the very popular Make-Your-Own-Sunscreen from two years ago, Twyla Kowalenko will DJ another amazing dance party...

We will have a family-oriented showcase on one of the evenings, and then when the little ones go off to bed, an adults' candlelit coffee house/open mic for some grown-up mingling time.

Also, morning yoga & meditation, nature walks, swimming, the sweat lodge with David, great meals, performances, kids' activities, visual art & crafts, sharing circles, and community...

We'd love to have you with us, for the whole weekend or just for a day. Come alone and make new friends; come with your partner or a few friends, bring your children. All are welcome!

We want to remind you that tickets are still available. 8 meals, humble accommodation, and all programming for 3.5 days. (Child & youth tickets are also available for lower prices.) http://spiritfest.ca/register_spiritfest

Something new this year: BYOF. Bring Your Own Food & cook over a firepit or on your camp stove. BYOF tickets are $150 and include all programming plus accommodation.

We are also currently accepting Volunteer Applications.

We'd love to hear from you, and look forward to you being a part of the web of inspiration & creativity that is spun at Spiritfest every summer, and that keeps weaving throughout the year!

Wishing you delight with all you partake in this Spring & Summer!

Love,
Shara & David
