Discover multi-useful, inexpensive, accessible and safe essential oils for the whole family/community! My almost 3-year-old-son and myself are a traveling family who are going to be living out of our backpacks for the next year. I will share with you essential oils to pull out of your backpack (or cupboard at home) and make first aid remedies and practical body care products within seconds with ingredients you already have on hand or can buy anywhere.

Find out which essential oils are useful in emergencies, for injuries and for common problems. Emine Ozmen will present a dozen essential oils, explain what they do and how they work, and introduce us to some remedies you can make easily and inexpensively from them.

March 3 - The Miracle of Maple

The origins of the use of healing aromatic plants are intertwined with the origins of humanity in the vast continent of Africa. We'll explore the development of modern chemistry through the work of North African perfumers and proto chemists, and sample some of the outstanding botanical medicines from contemporary Africa.
