PRIVATE: JON HARSTONE RETIREMENT PARTY

Hello, all!

After almost 45 years of dedicated service to both St. Clare’s Multifaith Housing Society and to the nonprofit, cooperative and affordable housing sectors, Jon Harstone will be taking his well earned retirement at the end of February. Jon’s advice, creativity and hard work will be greatly missed by all his colleagues.

Jon has spent his career working with a variety of co-operatives and non-profit housing providers to ensure that people have access to safe, secure, healthy, and affordable housing. In fact, there are few affordable housing developments in Toronto that have not received the benefit of his advice, creativity and hard work. In his role with St. Clare's Multifaith Housing Society, and as our outgoing Executive Director, Jon has been critical int he development of the organization over the last 25 years. Under Jon's leadership we have grown from our very humble beginnings to now house 415 (soon to be 427) individuals and families in Toronto.

We would like to celebrate his retirement and honour his contributions to the to the foundation and successes of St Clare’s and to the broader social housing sector.

Please join us a the Dora Keogh at 141 Danforth Avenue on February 7 at six o’clock. Light fare will be served, and your first drink will be on St. Clare’s.

This pub is located on the South side of Danforth, very close to Broadview TTC station, and is wheelchair accessible.

Kindly respond to kritika@stclares.ca by January 20 if you are able join us.

See you soon!
