B’nai Mitzvah Program Orientation for 2013-2014

We invite you and your potential Bar/Bat Mitzvah child to attend an introduction and orientation session about our B’nai Mitzvah program.

This is an opportunity to meet with Frances Handlarski, our Education Director and B’nai Mitzvah teacher and to:

- Find out more about the program;

- Meet some of the students and families who will be participating in the 2013-2014 program; and

- Have your questions and concerns addressed.

Our Bar/Bat Mitzvah program is committed to enriching students’ understanding of their Jewish heritage and identity. This program strengthens students’ sense of their Jewish cultural, ethnic and historical identity. This alternative, secular life cycle program allows graduating students and parents to shape their group Bar & Bat Mitzvah ceremony collectively by tailoring it to highlight the individual interests and talents of the graduates.

We have attached our brochures with more information about our program along with a registration form. Classes are held on Sunday mornings, from September to May, 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at our convenient downtown location – 918 Bathurst Street (2 blocks north of Bloor at Barton) – beginning on Sunday September 15, 2013.

Through this program, your family will embark on a very special journey to mark this important life cycle for your child. We look forward to beginning that journey with you.

We hope you will be able to attend. And , if you know of other families who may be interested, feel free to inform them.

Kindly RSVP by email or phone to 416-789-5502 with the names of those planning to attend the orientation session.

Sholem,

Maxine
