Why is this aluminum bottle an eco-friendly packaging material?
* It's 100% recyclable and close to 100% recycled! Aluminum is very costly to produce new, but cheap to produce from scrap and recovered aluminium.
* It's lightweight and costs little to ship.
* It's the best packaging for essential and carrier oils because it is dark and cool.
* It's infinitely reusable, sterilize-able and refillable. Just wash it with hot soapy water, pumping the water through until it runs clear, then pump grain alcohol or vodka through to sterilize, and let dry thoroughly.

Recycled Aluminum

Historically, aluminium has proven to be one of the most important materials in successful recycling programs. Aluminum offers high scrap value, widespread consumer acceptance, and aluminium recycling enjoys significant industry support.

Aluminum is recycled and reused over and over without losing any of its characteristics. There is no loss of quality in using recycled aluminium. The recycling of aluminum uses less energy and is far less expensive than producing new aluminum. During many of the manufacturing processes involving aluminium, there is scrap generated. This is returned to the smelters or casting facilities and reused to make the raw material again. Compared to the initial four pounds of ore to produce one pound of aluminium, every pound of recycled aluminum saves four pounds of ore. Thus nearly 100% of aluminium is recycled.
