Just fill a glass bottle or jar with vegetable oil, add a dash of essential oil, and pop in your rattan diffusing reeds!

These reeds are made from all natural, high quality fibrous rattan. The reeds absorb the fragrance to the top and disperses it into the room. The more reeds you use, the stronger the scent.

The latest in home fragrance, reed diffusers offer weeks of fragrance without a flame. The reeds absorb the fragrance to the top and disperse it into the room. Once a week you will take all the reeds out and flip them. Other than that there is zero maintenance.

These diffusers can be used for both essential oils and fragrance oils, but essential oils are much thicker than fragrance oils and will not travel up the reed as effectively, so to aid in the dispersal, a little alcohol can be added to the vegetable oil base.

This is a very subtle form of diffusion, so bolder fragrances are recommended for maximum effectiveness.

Instructions
1. Fill a narrow necked glass bottle 1/3 with any pure vegetable oil.
2. Add 20-100 drops (1 to 5ml) of pure essential oil or blend of essential oils such as an Emo Oil http://www.anarreshealth.ca/catalog/3/essential_oils?page=3. 3. Insert the natural diffuser reeds into the oil so that the neck of the bottle is filled.
4. Let the reeds soak for 24 hours, then flip them over end to end so that the un-soaked end is now soaking and the soaked end is scenting the air!
5. Flip the reeds periodically to refresh the scent.
6. Compost the reeds and replace them and the oil annually.

It's never happened, but just in case...
I pack the oils as carefully as possible, tightening the lids and sealing these with electric tape just prior to posting. Nonetheless, it is possible for extreme temperatures to cause slight leakage. Unfortunately, I cannot replace or refund such items. To prevent leakage, the 15 ml of essential oil are located below the neck of the bottle. This expansion room does NOT mean that you did not receive 15 ml of essential oil. The bottles are factory packed, and double checked by me prior to posting!
