To Begin...
Each appointment begins with a hot mug of tea or a cool cup of crystal water.
Your first session will begin with an assessment and consultation, which you can do with me while you enjoy a FAR infrared sauna**.
All 1 hour or 1.5 hour treatments can include up to 30 minutes of FAR infrared sauna while we "check in".

** Regarding FAR Infrared Sauna Therapy:
I use the sauna to warm clients' feet and bodies and increase circulation prior to massage. Many other health benefits are claimed, but judge for yourself! http://altmed.creighton.edu/sauna/

In Ontario, only Swedish Massage practitioners, called Registered Massage Therapists, or RMTs, are permitted to use the term "massage"! I hold nationally recognized diplomas and am insured to provide "Thai Massage", "Lymphatic Drainage Massage", "Qi Stone Massage" and "Advanced Massage". In my written materials, however, I am compelled to refer to my practice of these modalities as "body work"!
