Coconut oil is extracted from the kernel or meat of matured coconut harvested from the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera). Clients ask me if they can eat the oils that I stock. Most of my oils are not packaged for ingestion, but I was inspired to start carrying this fairly traded, extra virgin organic coconut oil - so this one is!

Crystal Virgin Coconut Oil is made from certified organic coconuts harvested in unpolluted rural Vietnam. We use only the finest, freshest coconuts grown by local farmers. The oil is extracted by cold pressing techniques at the rural harvest sites under strict supervision to maintain product quality and then shipped to our quality control and packaging centre in Ho Chi Minh City. There it is inspected and certified by food chemists and Ministry of Health. After certification and approval the oil is packaged and shipped to our distributors in the US and Canada and around the world.

The Crystal Coconut Oil Company is Canadian owned and operated (in Southern Ontario), working with farmers from Vietnam. We produce pure, Cold Pressed Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (OVCO) (using De-humidifying / Air Conditioning method) and Organic Coconut products.
