I'm working on getting the word out to interested parties ( parents who have art obsessed children who need day camps for them) about my new Summer Camp program. The Summer Camp has been a work in progress, developing over the six years I've been running my little art school here on Olive Avenue in Seaton Village ( just S/W of Bathurst / Dupont ).
I've been listening to you to hear what you need in the summer for your children. The knowledge I've gleaned from doing that coupled with what I have to offer resulted in this Summer Program.

*Though I am offering the program 4 different weeks it needs to be mentioned that there are only 24 seats in the Art Adventure Program (ages 8-13 - 6 children per week - Mon-Fri. 9-5PM) and 8 seats in the Comic Making program (ages 5-7 Am or pm @ 2 hrs. per day), so early registration is imperative. Draw on the GO ART Adventures and Comic Making for children who LOVE to draw!

July - August

For ages 8-13: ART ADVENTURE Program - runs 9:00AM- 5:00PM Monday - Fri. Daily field trips: Toronto Island, Allan Gardens, Riverdale Farm, High Park, and the Toronto Zoo . I'm running this series of trips only 4 X this summer Option #1 =July 5th- 9th, Option #2 July 12th-16th, Option #3 July 19th-23, and Option #4 Aug. 23-27th. There will be 6 children on each trip. This means that space is limited so please register as soon as you are able. The cost is $250. for the week.

Draw on the Go ART ADVENTURES have grown from my practice of taking children on drawing trips. We’ve gone on gallery hops, to the Royal Winter Fair, and to the Zoo. The children love these trips so I’ve decided to make trips into a summer curriculum. Students will learn new techniques and put them to use immediately as they will be in drawing ‘in the field’, working in the spirit of the Canadian landscape tradition. Like the landscape artists we will be observing and recording, with hand to paper, what surrounds us while we are out.

For ages 5-7: COMIC Making Class - 2 hours per day - Monday- Friday - You choose mornings or afternoons 10:00AM-12:00PM the or 1:00PM -3:00 PM in the. This series runs for one week only 2 maximum of 4 children in each class. The cost of this program is $200.+25 for supplies.

For children of all ages Solo Classes (that's a one to one student teacher ratio):

Drawing Classes - eight half hour classes are $195.

Painting Classes eight one hour classes are $396.+ $25. supply fee.

Regarding Art Adventures ... ART materials, admission and travel costs are included in the packages. Each child is required to bring their own very hearty lunch + 3 snacks (please no peanuts or sugary foods), a full water bottle, and sunscreen all in a backpack. Also they will be required to wear a hat, comfortable weather appropriate clothing and sunscreen.
