This is it for summer - a concentrated boost - loaded with the excuse to reach for what's best during those days. Almost all of your needs are met, with the exception of the salads to keep you balanced. Plan to take a yoga class (or better yet, come hop on the reformer), or book an infa-red sauna session at your local spa. Find out when your neighborhood farmers market is, and make an appearance to grab some incredible Ontario fruits and vegi's.

Pilates/Yoga/Reformer Sessions

If you haven't tried, the reformer is the sweetest way to stretch, strengthen and generally re-balance. Whatever your intention with movement and exercise -this versatile piece of equipment will take you to another level.
I've slid the cost to share some openings in early August with the hopes to share this experience with new clients.
Whether you seek to create a home program, have therapeutic (post rehab) movement issues, a specific question to unravel, too much stress/muscle tension, or want a serious work out - the benefits limitless.
Single Sessions (typically 75 min) $60 (reg. $70)
Mini Packages (60 minutes) of 3 sessions: $165
I have a limited number of evening slots, and will open myself to the weekend that falls during this time.

I have a private practice space and am equipped lots of small apparatus and a beautiful reformer.
A what?
A reformer.
That sounds... scary?...
It definitely has a curious appearance, but provides the sweetest method of working out. Imagine removing all the discomfort from yoga, while enjoying a higher level of stretch - and all compression from more demanding Pilates exercises - while enjoying a deeper level of strength.
How is this possible?
The machine supports your body and movement - it has a carriage that moves on a track, utilizing your own body weight with the option of increasing resistance with springs.
It provides the option to work on a restorative level, athletically, or therapeutically (there is also a circuit/cardio option using a 'jump board') In short, its very versatile - and just feels great!
Privates are an excellent way to deepen your movement practice, allowing us to address any questions that groups don't provide the space and time for. I provide a short postural analysis and we outline your goals to map out a series of movements that suit your specific needs. Creating home mat programs is very common.
If there is just one or 2 specific issues you want to look at, 1 session may be sufficient.
Movement training as such is about creating healthier movement patterns, unlocking existing patterns in muscles and joints that took years to settle in. These patterns often need time to work themselves out. That said, due to how much information both myself and your own body provide can become highly concentrated - therefore - I typically suggest doing a series.

Throughout the first 2 weeks of August I'm offering privates at a promotional cost to share this with new clients. Sessions are 60 minutes (the first session typically runs closer to 75 minutes). I'm located on Palmerston Blvd, one block north of College Street.
The regular cost for a single: $70
The regular cost for packages: $60-$65 per session (depending on number purchased)
