Custom Herbal Tinctures

Katie Wolk's Apothecaria Herbs tinctures are made from local plants that she harvests in the wild. They are harvested ethically and respectfully, ensuring the long-term survival of the plant population. In some cases, dried herbs will be used from organic sources when the fresh herb is unavailable.

Herbal medicine works gently but deeply, restoring your health and vitality without unwanted side effects. After an herbal consultation, a personalized formula will be made specifically for your needs. Following a unique system, the Four Elements Herbal Therapy, created by clinical herbalist Michael Vertolli, all organ systems will be treated as we progress through your herbal treatments.

About Katie Wolk

Katie Wolk is the owner of Apothecaria Herbs and is currently a Traditional Herbalist student at the Living Earth School.

Katie graduated from the University of Toronto in 2006 with an Honours B.A. in Anthropology. Her interests in health, community, activism, and food security led to many unique opportunities working with plants and people in Toronto, ON, Shawnigan Lake, BC, and San Andres, Guatemala. She continues to discover and explore the healing potential of many plants that grow all around us.

FREE Consultations

If you are interested in herbal medicine consultations, Katie can see you at the Living Earth School’s student clinic. It runs every other Saturday from 10:30 am to 5 pm. This is a supervised clinic and consultations are free. All you pay for is your custom made herbal formulation, which is $50 per 250ml bottle. Depending on your condition or treatment, you will usually only need one bottle which will last you until your next appointment, around six weeks later.
