YOU BOUGHT ONE OF OUR SOY CANDLES - NOW WHAT?
It’s time to light it up – but wait! There are a few things we want you to know first. What’s there to know about lighting a candle, you ask… well, a lot actually.

The first thing we want you to remember is the first burn is the most important! Weird right? There are a few things we like to remind our clients about soy candles – first off, soy has a memory, so the first burn will set the tone for the rest of its candle life. You want your candle to be off to a good start in life – so remember to allow the wax pool to reach the edge of the glass on the first burn – but don’t let it burn too long. Candles shouldn’t be burned longer than 3-4 hours at a time, the wick should always be trimmed to ¼ inch long between burns, and candles should never be burned near another heat source (yes this includes other candles – keep them at least 6 inches apart!). Oh, and keep that candle on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, children, and pets! If you ever forget any of this (or if this list is boring and just too long), flip our candle over and read the fine print on the bottom – we’ve included it in English and French!
