Lavandula stoechas flower head, steam distilled, from Spain.
Aroma: A top note of strong aroma, Lavender Spanish has a floral scent that is somewhat more camphoraceous than Lavender Bulgarian, and smells like fresh lavender. Warm, sweet, floral, fresh, slightly fruity, slightly campharaceous.
Common Uses: Properties of Lavender Essential Oil include analgesic, anti-convulsive, anti-depressant, anti-phlogistic, antirheumatic, antseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, bactericide, carminative, cholagogue, cicatrisant, cordial, cytophylactic, decongestant, deodorant, and as a diuretic.
