Homestead is a blend brimming with smells that are common in the northern coastal forests of western Canada. The heart of this perfume is cedar leaf thuja with layering base notes of vetiver, seaweed, and styrax benzoin. Fierce and coniferous at first, this blend fades to wood smoke and seawater, tinged with the sweetness of late summer.

Ingredients: grass fed tallow, essential oils of: Eastern white cedar Thuja officinalis, juniper berry Juniperis communis, vetiver Vetivera zizanoides, Chinese cedarwood Cupressus funebris, Styrax benzoin, labdanum Cistus ladanifer, *beeswax Cera alba, *seaweed extract.

Luna Obscura's Original Printed Packaging
You may have noticed the packaging at Luna Obscura is very stylized and all white on black. All glass bottles are hand-painted, and all Luna Obscura branding is done by hand with a manual silkscreen. It takes a very long time and is quite the labour of love which factors into my pricing. As these are prototypes of products, there is likely to be fluctuation in quality of prints. In the future, I plan to offer by gram sales of all my products at a discount when the customer uses their own container and I plan to offer recycled containers without branding.
