This Melt and Pour Organic Soap Base is free from any foam boosters and preservatives. Made from 100% UK Certified Organic Vegetable Oils, this base contains no alcohol or harmful products to dry your skin!
It's clear, and a light amber colour because it's made from certified organically grown, non GMO vegetable oils and it's not chlorine bleached.
Glycerine, a natural emollient, draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy skin. And, since no heavy animal oils are used, your soap will rinse clean and leave no soapy film behind. This soap base is produced from the highest quality double distilled and deodorized clear coconut oil, forming luxurious lather and sparkling clarity.

Preparing and Wrapping Your Soaps:
When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. So if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We would recommend fully wrapping the ENTIRE soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled--this should minimize/eliminate any shrinkage. I sell vegetable cellulose bags and film for preventing shrinkage in my store, too. Plastic bags that hold small 40g soaps, reused from new packaging, are available for free. Just ask!

Note that this is the solid soap base, not the plain clear fluid vegetable glycerine.
