* To book, please pay a minimum of 2 hours @$20/hr. This fee covers our wages only.
* Please note that a PWYC honorarium is due the day of the rental. The suggested total rate is $20-$40 per hour.
* The $20 an hour deposit to book is NOT your full rental fee.

We offer spaces for quiet non-smoking events activities and workshops only.
Live music must not be amplified.

Here is how we are keeping each other safe:

* VENTILATION Rooftop ventilation, exhaust & ceiling fan, Level 13 box fan, HEPA germ filter and 2 UV air sanitizers all contribute to our engineer approved ventilation.

* MASKS over mouth nose and chin at all times. For this reason, we are not eating or drinking in the space, but offer body breaks as needed.

* 2 M physical distance with each bubble of 1 or 2 having its own table.

* SMALL SEMI-PRIVATE INSTRUCTION with registration limited to 5 participants. The air is rated as good for 10 people for 2 hours.

The WORKSHOP ROOM is available for rental for small meetings and classes.

WORKSHOP ROOM NOTES
* Events, holistic treatments, and meetings can be booked in the Workshop Room any day or time based on staff available to open and close.
* Please book a minimum of 30 minutes to set up, and 30 minutes to clean up. In other words, if your event is two hours 2-4 pm, then you must book 1:30 to 4:30 pm = 3 hours.
* Staff can help you set up and clean up and will remain in the space discretely or as a participant - your choice - for the duration of your rental.

MAIN SPACE NOTES
* Events, meetings, etc can only happen in the Main Space on or after 7:30 pm Tues-Sat, and on Sundays or Mondays based on staff available to open and close.
* Please book a minimum of 30 minutes to set up, and 30 minutes to clean up. In other words, if your event is two hours 2-4 pm, then you must book 1:30 to 4:30 pm = 3 hours.

The Workshop Room
* Can be available 8 am to midnight any day of the week.
* Includes an optional massage table and massage chair with head cradles and Bring Your Own Linens.
* Includes tables, chairs, water purifier, chalkboard and kitchenette with kettle, hot water dispenser and toaster oven. The renter is responsible for 100% of the replacement cost of any items broken.

The Main Space is available:
* Sundays and Mondays anytime
* Tuesdays-Saturdays 730 pm to midnight.
* Two ground floor breakout spaces can be made available for an additional fee. Please negotiate this at the time of your booking.
* There is a ground floor kitchenette for coffee, tea, snacks and clean up from a potluck if you need it. Please let us know what you need at the time of your booking.

Products for sale are located on the ground floor. Please ensure that participants do not remove items. You are responsible for any theft that occurs! The cash will be staffed and open for events.

MOBILITY ACCESSIBILITY: The main space front entrance has a ramp. Note that there is a washroom on the ground floor and in the basement. The ground floor washroom is not officially wheelchair accessible but is large enough to fit most mobility devices.

MULTIPLE CHEMICAL SENSITIVITIES ACCESSIBILITY: This is an aromatherapy shop and natural scents are everywhere. There are no synthetic or artificial scents at Anarres Apothecary. Please advise ALL of your participants as a matter of course NOT to use scented body products such as perfumes, deodorants, shampoos, conditioners, etc. prior to coming to Anarres Apothecary.

Space will be clean and set up as you have requested upon arrival.
Please sweep the floors and check the washroom for tidiness before you leave.
Please book 30 minutes before and after your activity to ensure that you are returning the space the way you were given it.

The more spaces and facilities you need to use, the higher your sliding scale contribution should be. Please negotiate regular rental rates with Tracey directly.

DEPOSIT TO BOOK:
Deposit of min $20 an hour is required at least 1 week prior to your rental to book the space.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
Cancellations will be considered received during our regular business week Tuesdays through Saturdays from noon to 7 pm. Cancellations that are given after business hours Saturday until opening Tuesday will be considered received on Tuesday at noon.
Cancellations with a full refund will be given only up to 1 week before the booking. Cancellations 1-6 days prior to the booking with be credited hour for hour TOWARDS A FUTURE BOOKING ONLY.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not be credited or refunded.

WORK EXCHANGE
You may also pay in part or in full by Work Exchange hour-for-hour if you need the room during our regular business hours. Deep cleaning (thorough, enthusiastic & detailed, not just broom pushing) on a weekly basis is needed at this time as well as event promotion.
