Ever notice that when you search for body care images, virtually all the pictures that come up are for light porcelain skinned women in their 20s? Bugs me. I know we've been talking about this for many decades - that when all you see are images of people who DON'T look like you, you begin to feel wrong, erased. I'm choosing images that reflect the people who come to Anarres. Did you notice? I love you in all your diversity: crone skin, baby skin, tan, brown, freckled, cocoa, black & olive skin.
