Vietnamese cafes brew their coffee one cup at a time in a small filter called a phin.

Great for people who don't have room for a coffee machine or who like to make a single cup at a time.
This method takes about 4-5 minutes from start to finish, somewhat less than brewing in a coffee machine, and it is more fun and guarantees incredible flavour.

Instructions for Vietnamese style coffee:

1. Prepare items: Vietnamese pot drops, condensed milk, local Vietnamese coffee beans, coffee spoon

2. Add condensed milk to your coffee mug.

3. Remove the cover and the perforated pressing plate from the coffee filter cup.

4. Add 2 spoons (@15g) pure Vietnamese coffee to the main cup.

5. Place the perforated plate overtop and press the coffee.

6. Put the coffee filter on top of your mug, then wet the coffee with a little water.

7. Let sit about 20 seconds, the fill the filter cup with water 90 degrees and cover.

8. Let drip about 3 minutes, then enjoy fragrant and delicious coffee.
