Make a treat for yourself or as a gift! Enjoy a companionable afternoon making something nice, and enjoy a light lunch!

Why make your own hand salve? So many reasons! –

It's easy and inexpensive
You can customize the fragrance as you like
No plastics, preservative chemicals, or micro-beads
It's very satisfying to whip together a couple of ingredients into a salve and keep it in an attractive container on your shelf – or wrap it as a gift for a friend.
Go through the easy steps with us, take your sample home, make more whenever you want. Hand salves are truly simple to make; join us and see for yourself!

This workshop is held at the The Gathering Hub, 260 Queen St E on November 12th,2023 at 12pm-2pm

All supplies are provided as well as a light vegetarian lunch. Please arrive a couple of minutes early, so we have time to cover everything. If you are not able to attend please cancel your order on Eventbrite by November 10th so we can offer the spot to someone on the waitlist and ensure we have the right number attendees to place the order for the lunch provided.

Accessibility Considerations: Facilitation will be provided in English – but people with all kinds of languages have enjoyed our practical workshops – we do as much showing as telling, with lots of demonstration! The space is temporarily not wheelchair-accessible. No Washrooms on-site.

We encourage participants to reach out after registering if you feel comfortable informing us about any additional accessibility tools we could supply. It is a priority of Building roots to ensure everybody feels comfortable and safe at our programs.
