It was used since #antiquity in #topical #ointments and #washes for #wounds and #ulcers. The #flower #petals are dried and then can be infused in a #carrier #oil to make the traditional #herbal oil. Calendula Flowers are reputed to have #anti-inflammatory and #astringent properties and can be used in #infusions, #extracts, and #ointments to help speed the #healing of #burns, #bruises, #cuts, and minor #infections. Calendula Flowers can also be used in #soap manufacturing and #potpourris.
