Heterotheca inuloides flowers infused in Extra Virgin Olive Oil Olea Europaea Fruit Oil in Canada. Topically, Arnica Herbal Oil can be used in preparations for tinctures, creams, ointments, compresses, and poultices.

Standardization: 11.3% dry herb/L of oil (i.e., 113 g herb per 1000 ml of oil)

Common Uses: Also known as Mexican Arnica, the herb has been used medicinally on this continent for centuries. Because of the dearth of Arnica montana, a popular herb indigenous to Europe, it is currently used in Europe as a substitution when formulating topical skin-care products that provide an overall soothing experience.

Cautions: Arnica should only be applied to unbroken skin as it is known to promote blood circulation and may increase bleeding of wounds.

Usage:
Tinctures: 1:10 dried flower prepared with 70% ethanol
Creams & Ointments: 20 - 25% tincture or a maximum of 15% arnica oil
Compresses: Tincture diluted 3 - 10 times with water
Poultices: Tincture diluted 3 - 10 times with water

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 9 Months to 1 Year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
