Marina Arnaout, Steam Whistle Community Relations and Environmental Committee member will present the brewery's environmental initiatives and share with us the costs and benefits of their sustainable business practices. Steam Whistle employs sustainable practices throughout the entire operation, utilizing 100% green electricity from Bullfrog Power, eco-packaging, water & energy conservation, biofuel, and a 94% diversion rate from landfill. We will enjoy a free beer courtesy of the Steam Whistle Roundhouse!

Robert Wakulat, greenTbiz Program Manager and lawyer advising small business on energy projects, will inform us about the latest in the Green Energy Act. He will talk as well about incentives for renewable energy projects to be developed by small property owners and community groups, and about participation in the FIT program by owners, developers, and investors.

Vlad Glebov, President and founder of the GreenLife Co-operative and CEO of GreenLife Power, will talk about the inspiration to create the cooperative, and will share his expertise in providing engineering, financing and consulting services to help develop solar projects. He will describe the program opportunity to earn a 14% rate of return and advantageous financial options.
