"As I mentioned, there will be 13 students ranging in age from 5-14. The students are eager to learn and cooperative. Of course, myself and other teachers will be present at all times to assist the co-op member and help guide the students' learning. Specifically, we would love the co-op member to discuss what a food co-op is (how it is different from chain grocery stores, farmers markets, etc), how it operates, what community it services, where the food is produced, how it arrives at the co-op, how the food prices may differ from a grocery store, why food co-ops are an important alternative to grocery store chains or big box stores. Any other interesting facts and info are also appreciated.

Part of High Park Day School mission is to engage with the local community in as many ways as possible. "
