Calendula officinalis, a portion from my garden, Infused In: Local and Certified Organically Grown sunflower seed oil Helianthus annuus
Standardization: 20% dry herb/L of oil (i.e., 200 g herb per 1000 ml of oil)
Use this powerful healing agent to soothe skin irritations such as scrapes, dryness, diaper rashes, sunburns... even on sensitive skin.
Common Uses: Calendula is an excellent base oil for cosmetics and medical remedies. Use to heal skin irritations such as dryness, diaper rashes, sunburns, etc. It should be considered by those who have sensitive skin. Calendula is such a powerful healing agent that it is advised not to use on deep wounds as it will heal the surface skin too quickly!
I use calendula herbal oil in its organic variety in my skin healing balms Mamalicious Baby Balm and Blister Balm.
